The Cascades aux Ecrevisses

The Cascade aux Ecrevisses is one of the most accessible waterfalls in Guadeloupe. It is located in the regional park of Guadeloupe in Basse Terre on the road of the Crossing. This road allows, as its name indicates it, to cross Basse Terre, from East to West. This site is very pleasant and accessible to all. You can park your car on the free parking, then take the small luxuriant path which goes into this beautiful tropical forest. The small path is well laid out and easy to walk on, even for people with reduced mobility. After a few minutes of walking, you will find a beautiful waterfall of about 10 meters high and the Corrosol River. You can even cool off and take a swim at the foot of this beautiful waterfall carved into the volcanic rock.

Our advice: go early to appreciate the setting in a certain tranquillity. It is indeed one of the most visited sites of Guadeloupe.
